Cookies
A short account of what this site stores in your browser, how the banner works, and how you change your mind.
Henfijeous uses as little tracking as a clinic site can. Until you press Accept or Decline, optional analytics stay off. The site, the forms and the map still work. This page names the two categories we use, the key we write into localStorage, and how you clear that key so the banner returns.
Necessary cookies and storage
Necessary storage is what the site needs to behave. Sending an enquiry posts the form to send.php and does not require an advertising cookie. There is no member area and no login cookie. Error codes on the contact page use the address bar. The host in Sydney may set a basic cookie to keep the connection tidy. That cookie is not used to recognise you across other websites and it is not sold.
After you choose, the banner writes one value: a key named hf_cookie in localStorage, set to accept or decline. It is device storage, not a third-party cookie. It lasts 180 days from the button press. After that, or if you clear the key, the banner shows again. If localStorage is blocked, the banner stays visible. The safe default is to ask, not to assume.
Analytics — only after Accept
If you press Accept, we may run a simple count of which pages were opened, so we know whether pricing is being read or whether an old link hits the 404 page. We do not use that count to build a health profile, to remarket a peel, or to follow a named person around the web. We do not load advertising networks.
If you press Decline, that count does not start. Clinic pages, forms, the map and the results files remain available. Decline is a real choice. Silence is not a yes. Reloading the page is not consent. The banner stays until you press one of the two buttons.
How the banner works
The banner is visible when you first arrive. Our script looks for hf_cookie. If the key is set, the script hides the banner. If the key is missing, the banner stays. Accept writes accept. Decline writes decline. Both hide the bar. There is no scroll trap and no third button that tracks you while you “decide later”. The buttons use a data-cookie attribute only. If JavaScript fails, the banner remains and analytics stay off.
How to withdraw the choice
In the browser tools for henfijeous.site, delete the hf_cookie key from localStorage — or clear stored data for this site in your settings — then reload. The banner returns and you can press the other button. We do not keep a copy of your choice on our server. If the banner itself is broken, write to [email protected]. A different browser or a private window is a new choice. We do not sync the decision across devices.
Third parties
The map on the visit page is a Google Maps embed without a key we issued and without a Places API we control. Google may set its own cookies when that iframe loads. The street address is also printed in text: Level 2, 118 Chapel Street, Windsor VIC 3181. We load Public Sans and Zilla Slab from Google Fonts. That request is not analytics consent. If you block fonts, the site falls back to system type and stays readable.
How long the choice lasts
The hf_cookie value is treated as current for 180 days. We do not silently extend it when you browse. When it ages out or you delete it, we ask again. If we add a new optional tool in 2026, we will update this page and reset the meaning of Accept so an old yes does not cover a new tracker. Questions: [email protected]. Last updated: 2026.
